Window World®, America’s largest remodeling company, is proud to recognize Window World of Winchester’s receiving recognition as a Fast-Growing Dealer in Door & Window Market’s July/August 2021 publication.
Winchester, VA is most well known as the birthplace of Patsy Cline, but it’s quickly become the “jewel of our markets,” according to President and CEO of Window World of Winchester Greg Deathridge. In fact, the location was Window World’s National Store of the Year in 2020.
Deathridge recognized their need to adapt when COVID-19 emerged as an impediment to in-person consultations. Their agile move to online markets and, most critically, virtual appointments has benefited the reseller greatly. “It forced us to get to the point — to sell home improvements in this way. And I don’t think we’re going back … this makes the customer feel more in control and they’re more educated these days. It’s a different buying experience.”
These procedures ensure customer comfort in the age of COVID and, Deathridge admits, provide a time-saving element that allows Window World consultants plenty of time to concentrate on sales and customer satisfaction. Some salespeople are producing as much as $3 million in revenue since the switch. That proves that staying cautious and quick to adapt pays off.
